Lachlan Bristow : « Win the championship and help Villefranche be promoted into Elite 1 »
Lachlan Bristow, new Villefranche player, talks about his choice to join the Wolves and his ambitions for this season.
Lachlan, can you introduce yourself?
My name is Lachlan Bristow, I’m 30 years old from a small town in NSW Australia called Tumut.
Why do you leave Australia to play for Villefranche in Elite 2?
To experience a different part of the world while also playing the sport I love.
Did you follow the Elite 2 before you come?
I started following it towards the end of last year season.
What do you think you can bring to the team?
Obviously, being in the back end of my career, I’d like to think I bring a bit of experience on the field. I was also in a coaching/playing role the last 4 years in Australia which helped me to expand my rugby league knowledge which could be an asset for the team.
What are your ambitions for next season?
Personally, to stay healthy, fit and play some good footy. And also, as a team, obviously win the championship and help Villefranche be promoted into Elite 1.
