Takitau, can you introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Takitau Manukia Mapapalangi.
What do you think about the victory against Avignon?
I thought our victory on Saturday against Avignon was a tough battle for the whole 80 minutes. We made a few crucial errors towards the end but just managed to hold onto the win for myself, it was a good game because of the boys setting me up and putting me in the right places.
What do you think of the level in Elite 1?
I think that Elite 1 is a very tough competition and physically challenging, the pace of the game is alright but the fundamentals in defense is the outline I believe in this level that separates them from the other levels I’ve played in.
Which team is the favorite to win the championship?
I believe Carcassonne and Albi are the favorites to win, and we are the dark horses of the competition, I believe our team can win this competition when our team is at full strength.
What are your ambitions for the season?
My ambitions are to win this competition and perform at the best of my capabilities for my team.
