Joe Lowe : « My ambitions are for the club to have a successful season »
Joe Lowe, new Tonneins player, talks about his choice to play with the Phoenix and his ambitions for the next season.
Joe, can you introduce yourself ?
I’m Joe Lowe, 22 years old, born in England and grew up in Australia!
Why you leave the Championship to come in Tonneins ?
I’ve come over because I’ve always wanted to play in France, where I think the rugby is a hidden gem and lifestyle is great. It’s an opportunity that I don’t want to not do and regret. I can not wait!
Did you follow the Elite 2 championship before you come ?
I’ve followed French rugby a little with Catalans, Toulouse, national team and a little on Elite 1 but not much on Elite 2 but have heard it’s a competitive competition
What do you think you bring to the team ?
I hope I can bring a spark to the team. And even despite my age I have in high levels of rugby league in both England and Australia.
What are your ambitions for next season ?
My ambitions are for the club to have a successful season and to be a part of that through being a reliable player! Be injury free and give 100 percent to the players, coaches and fans.
