Chris Hankinson : « I want to play every match and win a trophy at this club »
Chris Hankinson, Leeds Rhinos center, speaks about the defeat against Leigh and talks about his goals with the team.
How was the offseason ?
Great time in the offseason, travelled to Bali and then to Queensland for a little while. Hopefully one day that will be permanent, I love it out there.
What do you think of the team’s performance against Leigh, and how do you explain the defeat?
Performance against Leigh started pretty good, discipline and errors cost us the game though. We had a lot of chances to create points but just didn’t execute well enough.
Your old club TO is back in the Super League, what do you think of this comeback?
I’m really happy to see TO back in Super League. I’ve followed them since the day I left, I hope they are here to stay.
You are playing York this weekend who beat Hull KR. How do you beat them?
York are a good team and I think Hull KR went with the wrong attitude last week and didn’t give them enough respect. If we stick to our game plan, I’m confident we win.
What are your personal goals this season and the collective goals with Leeds?
Personal goals are simple: I want to play every match and win a trophy at this club. I believe we have the squad to do it.
